(DURHAM, December 24, 2009) –Nute High School won by just five points on Wednesday's Granite State Challenge, defeating Groveton High School by a score of 130 to 125, and advancing the team to round two. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The triumphant Nute Rams included seniors Uriah Brown, John Gray and Sean Barth, junior Jocie Estevao and alternates Jake Plaisted and Ryan Burnett. They were coached by Doug Decker. Their opponents, the Groveton Eagles, included juniors Leif Becker, Ethan Emerson, Victoria Guay and sophomore Dana King. They were coached by Michael Foster.
