Durham, NH — (October 20, 2025)— The 17th annual NHPBS Holiday Auction kicks off November 3rd, and now more than ever, every donation and bid counts. Hundreds of holiday gifts are up for bid on the online Holiday Auction (nhpbs.org/auction), with proceeds helping to power the local programming, education and community outreach that New Hampshire PBS provides across the Granite State.
“When you shop the Holiday Auction, you’re not just checking names off your gift list—you’re also making sure NHPBS can keep serving our community,” said Auction Fundraising Supervisor Barbara Mariacher. “And the outpouring of support from local businesses has been heartwarming.”
Bidders will find holiday cheer for everyone on their list—from ski adventures at Lost Valley Ski Area and dining at Frog Rock Tavern in Meredith to a scenic dinner aboard the Café Lafayette Dinner Train, there’s plenty to unwrap. Treat someone special to a hand-cut wooden puzzle from Stave Puzzles and or a pampering gift certificate from The Skin & Body Spa in Nashua. With hundreds of choices, there’s truly something special for everyone.
High bidders will have the chance to take home these incredible items:
Bidding opens November 3rd and runs through December 5th, so shoppers are encouraged to log in, browse and start bidding. Every dollar raised helps NHPBS continue its mission to educate, engage and inspire viewers of all ages.
“At this time, community support is vital,” said President and CEO Peter Frid. “With the loss of federal funding, the Holiday Auction is more than a shopping tradition—it’s a way to ensure that NHPBS can continue delivering trusted children’s shows, educational resources and local programs that make a difference for our neighbors in the Granite State.”
All items have been generously donated by area businesses, local artisans and NHPBS supporters. Interested in getting your business involved? Connect with our Auction team at auction@nhpbs.org, and we’ll proudly showcase your business’s support.
