– Phillips Exeter Academy Advances to Quarterfinals –
(DURHAM, January 30, 2009) – Phillips Exeter Academy flexed its mental muscles on NHPTV's Granite State Challenge, defeating Bow High School by a score of 345 to 110. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television.The triumphant Phillips Exeter Lion Rampants were comprised of seniors Arjun Venkatachalam, Michael Levin, Ji Hyuk Lim, and Satyen Motiani, with alternates In Young Cho, Kate MacNamee and Bhargavi Puppala. They were coached by Hunter Farnham. The Bow Falcons were comprised of seniors Ethan Nappen, Teddy Wyly and Molly Milazzo, sophomore Will Sheffer, and alternates Stephanie Strong and Rachel Gottlieb. They were coached by Michelle Miller.Phillips Exeter Academy moves on to the quarterfinals where they will face Stratford Public School.Tune in Friday, 2/6 @ 6 p.m.for the next match-up on Granite State ChallengeFall Mountain Regional High School vs. Moultonborough AcademyTune in each Friday night @ 6 p.m. and follow your favorite teams' progress.
