– Fall Mountain Regional High School Advances to Round Two –
(DURHAM, November 21, 2008) – Fall Mountain Regional High School topped Berlin High School by a score of 205 to 180, advancing them to round two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m.The triumphant Fall Mountain Wildcats were comprised of seniors Nathaniel Locke and William Carmody, juniors Lindsay Sanchez-Navaro and Kirk Grimsley, with alternates Welcome Frye and Quinn Prentiss-Sturgill. They were coached by Nick Belsky. Their opponents, the Berlin Mountaineers, included seniors Joseph Arsenault, Eric Fredette, and Michael Charron, and junior Rachel Shute, with alternates Ethan Carrier and Matthew Record.
