Farmington High School Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

Farmington Defeats Mascenic Regional on NHPTV's Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, October 17, 2008) - Farmington High School claimed a decisive victory over Mascenic Regional High School on Friday's Granite State Challenge, defeating Mascenic Regional by a score of 195 to 120. Granite State Challenge airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television.Seniors Christopher Youden, Alexandria Dudley, Thomas Eldredge, and Mike Sprague, and alternates Rebecca Ireland and Samantha Stoakes, comprised the triumphant Farmington Tigers team, which was coached by Louise Leahy. Their opponents, the Mascenic Vikings, included seniors Craig Brand, Shannon Grover, Jobadiah Christiansen, and Bruce Ruotsala, as well as alternates Rachael Stanley and Shawna Letteney.
