– Portsmouth Christian Academy Advances to Round Two –
(DURHAM, October 3, 2008) - Portsmouth Christian Academy took an early lead over Gorham High School defeating them by a score of 220 to 90 on last night's match-up of Granite State Challenge. The series airs Fridays @ 6 p.m. and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television.Seniors Sarah Wason, Kile Townsend, Emily Ruseski, and Michael Frudakis, and alternates Katy Sternberger, and Kayla Emerson comprised the triumphant Portsmouth Christian Eagles team, which was coached by Donna Capern. Their opponents, the Gorham Huskies, included seniors Tyler Paine, Matt Lemieux, Nick Erickson, and Tony Burnell, and alternates Samantha Santy and Rachel Ross.
