(DURHAM, April 20, 2007) — Londonderry High School defeated Moultonborough Academy Thursday, April 12th in a lively Round Three match-up of Granite State Challenge. The Londonderry team overtook Moultonborough with a final score of 285 to 180. New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge airs Thursdays @ 7:30 p.m., and again on Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. The victorious Londonderry Lancers included seniors Andrew Guirguis, Leehae Choee, Brita Larson and Eric Cina. They were coached by Jim Choquette. The Moultonborough Panthers included seniors Casey Weeks and Ty Watson, and juniors Andrew Bryar and Matt Smith. They were coached by Sally Sibulkin and Andrew Coppinger.Londonderry High School will face the winner of the Round Three match-up between Hanover High School and Pinkerton Academy in the semifinals on Thursday, May 17 @ 7:30 p.m. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tune in Thurs., 4/26 @ 7:30 p.m. to watch Hanover High School vs. Pinkerton Academy --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thirty-two Granite State high school teams began battling toward the coveted SuperChallenge title in September.
