(DURHAM, March 20, 2008) – John Stark Regional High School soared over Sanborn Regional High School by a score of 275 to 125, advancing them to the quarterfinals of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The triumphant John Stark Generals were an all-senior team comprised of Mariah Brennan Clegg, Jon Richardson, Joseph Plunkett, Ben Mueser, and alternates Richard Berthiaume and Emily Petersen. Their coaches were Jill Pinard and Dan Marcus. The Sanborn Indians included seniors Craig Eldridge, Kim Lozeau, and Ashley Walukevich, junior Eric Sands, and alternates Brian Sands and Darrin Broadhurst.
