(DURHAM, February 7, 2008) - Two-time SuperChallenge finalist Winnacunnet Regional High School squeezed out a narrow victory over Sunapee Middle High School by a score of 180 to 175, advancing them to the quarterfinals of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The winning Winnacunnet Warriors were comprised of seniors Jessica Noone and Gabbie Burns, juniors Casey Bradshaw and Craig Hartenstein, alternates Pat Sullivan and Laurel Weatherby, and coaches Kevin Fleming and Andy Gushee. The Sunapee Lakers team included seniors Kai Eldredge and Heather Howe, juniors Nadia Chait and Gina Gioldassis, and alternates Erin Wirta and Vinny Tagliatela.
