CONTEST DETAILS
What do I need to provide in order to win?
Information required will be included in contest details. Most require name, address, email address and phone number. Incomplete entries will not be eligible to win. No purchase is necessary to enter NHPBS contests, giveaways and sweepstakes.
How many entries are permitted per person?
One entry per household is allowed per quiz, unless otherwise stated.
How many total entries will be allowed? What are the odds of winning?
The odds of winning one or more prizes will depend on the number of entrants. We will not set a limit on the total number of entries allowed.
How will the winner be selected?
The winner(s) will be selected at random by the NHPBS employee responsible for administering the contest.
How will the winner be notified?
NHPBS will make reasonable efforts to notify the winner(s) using the information provided on the winning entry form. If the prize must be physically mailed and is returned due to an undeliverable mailing address, NHPBS may, at its option, award another person the prize. NHPBS will not award a prize if the winner(s) (a) were ineligible to participate, (b) provided materially false or misleading information to NHPBS, or (c) if participating or receiving a prize is prohibited with respect to such person pursuant to these Rules or Applicable Law.
Why are you collecting so much personal information? Isn’t an email address enough?
We want to make sure we can get in touch with the winner(s).
Who is eligible to enter?
To be eligible to enter, you must (a) be at least 18 years old at the time of entry, (b) be a U.S. resident physically residing in the United States or District of Columbia. NHPBS and MacDowell employees, board members and their households may not enter and are not eligible to win a prize.
How can I find out who won?
Winners of the MacDowell Giveaway will be drawn on Monday, August 16 at noon on the NHPBS Facebook page and will be listed on the nhpbs.org/macdowell website.
What happens to my email address once I enter?
Your email address will be added to NHPBS’ and MacDowell email list and subject to the NHPBS Privacy Policy. If you were automatically entered by subscribing to a specific e-newsletter, you will begin receiving that newsletter within 2 weeks. All newsletters are free and subscribers may unsubscribe from the NHPBS and MacDowell email list at any time.
