(DURHAM, November 22, 2007) - Calvary Christian High School topped Trinity High School by a score of 205 to 155, advancing them to round two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and re-airs Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The winning Calvary Eagles team consisted of seniors Nathan Pritchett, Wayne Charrette, Ryan Stemmler, Adam DiPippo, alternates Nick Mavrelion and Josh Hutchings, and coach Karen Hess. The Groveton Eagles included seniors Taylor Langkau, Erik Becker, Jonathan Dupuis, freshman Victoria Guay, and alternate Leif Becker; they were coached by Michael Foster. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Granite State Challenge returns 12/19 with a double-header beginning @ 7:30 p.m.Newmarket High School vs. Winnisquam Regional High School @ 7:30 p.m. Alvirne High School vs. Spaulding High School @ 8 p.m. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tune in each Wednesday night @ 7:30 p.m. to follow your favorite teams and track their progress.
