(DURHAM, November 15, 2007) - In a nail-biter match last night, Bishop Brady High School defeated Trinity High School by a score of 230 to 220. The win advances Bishop Brady to round two of New Hampshire Public Television's Granite State Challenge. The series airs Wednesdays @ 7:30 p.m., and again Saturdays @ 8:30 a.m. on NHPTV. The victorious Bishop Brady Giants consisted of seniors Jenn Parsons, Tara Fitzgerald, Johnny Bassett, and Janet Moffatt, and alternates Noah Mellen and Thomas Hayes. They were coached by Jim Miller and Steve Woodward. The Trinity Pioneers included seniors James Stein and Cameron Foote, sophomores Anna Kaladish and Brendan Newcott, and were coached by Marigrace O'Gorski.
