Catch UNH Men's Ice Hockey Action Live on New Hampshire Public Television

- NHPTV To Air 10 Home Games During 2007-2008 Season -

(DURHAM, October 15, 2007) - The UNH men's ice hockey team plays rival Colorado College October 26th @ 7 p.m. in the season home opener broadcast live on New Hampshire Public Television. The NHPTV broadcast schedule for the 2007-2008 season includes match-ups with six different Hockey East opponents, including two games with Boston College. This is the 81st year for Wildcat men's ice hockey, and expectations are high. In addition to a talented group of upperclassmen, UNH will welcome a very strong freshman class that includes forward James vanRiemsdyk, drafted No. 2 overall by Philadelphia in this year's NHL entry draft. NHPTV will air ten home games during the 2007-2008 season, as well as live webcasts of the games at www.nhptv.org, making it possible for UNH hockey fans worldwide to watch their team play, free of charge. Games are archived at www.nhptv.org for online viewing anytime. Announcer Dan Parkhurst will provide the play-by-play action. Bob Norton and Mike Machnik will handle the color commentary during the games.
