  • NH Civics - Gr. K-12 - This site features a K-12 searchable civics curriculum, information on the NH Kids Governor program for grades K-5 and the Civics 603 program for grades 5-12 that explores how the court system works, a calendar of lectures exploring civic engagement, and lots more.

  • NH Bar Association Law Related Education - Gr. K-12 - The NH Bar Association provides NH educators and students with programming and resources to enhance civics education.

  • N. H. Election Division - Learn how to register to vote in New Hampshire, find out where the polling places are in your community, how to file for office, and what type of voting machines are used in different communities.

  • New Hampshire Secretary of State - Voting and election information including election results for past elections.

  • Federal Election Commission - This site contains information about campaign finance regulations for federal offices, as well as information about elections and voting.

  • Liberty's Kids - Gr. 4-6 - In this animated video series two teenage reporters cover the events of the Revolutionary War for Ben Franklin’s newspaper, The Philadelphia Gazette. James, an American colonist, brings the rebels’ point of view to life while Sarah, a young Englishwoman stranded by fate in America, gives us the British viewpoint in her letters to her mother back in London.

  • League of Women Voters - This site features voter education resources and information.
  • Open Secrets - Follow the money trail! Find out who is giving money to campaigns. You can search for campaign contributions by individual donor name or by PAC, industry, or soft money. You can also look at a contribution report for individual candidates.

  • Circle - The Center for Information and Research on Civic Engagement and Learning - CIRCLE, based in the University of Maryland's School of Public Policy and is funded by the Pew Charitable Trusts and Carnegie Corporation of New York, conducts, collects, and funds research on the civic and political participation of young Americans. You will find a wealth of research-based materials here that look at youth voting and civic engagement.

  • Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids - Gr. K-12 - Ben Franklin is your guide at this site that explores U.S. history, geography, civics, and citizenship. With separate guides designed specifically for grades K-2; 3-5; 6-8; and 9-12, the site can be used by students of all ages. In addition to sections on our nation; how laws are made; the branches of government; the election process; and citizenship, you will also find interactive games and activities.   • The Living Room Candidate - This site has Presidential campaign commercials from 1952-2024. You can search by year, type of commercial, or issue. You will also find a collection of lesson plans for grades 9-12 as well as the Ad Maker, an interactive tool that lets students re-edit a commercial from a historic presidential campaign or create one using historical footage.
