Tune in to NHPBS Saturday, February 2 at 6:00 pm for the first game on a new season of Granite State Challenge. New host Jon Cannon leads the action as the Marauders of Hanover High take on the Warriors of Winnacunnet.
Playing for the Hanover High Marauders are Daniel Bender, James Eiler, Oliver Minshall, captain Liam Szczepiorkowski, and alternate Hannah Weintraub. The team is coached by Bill Murphy.
The Winnacunnet Warriors are represented by captain MacLean Baker, Tim Sicard, Maggie Brown, Zachary Rummler, and alternate Tyler Hughes. The team is coached by Kevin Flemming
Granite State Challenge features New Hampshire's top high school academic quiz teams as they demonstrate remarkable teamwork, quick thinking and smarts to beat the clock and buzz in first on this iconic New Hampshire game show. The game emphasizes quick recall of math, science, social studies, language arts, and fine arts facts—along with questions about current events, entertainment, sports and New Hampshire.
