(Durham, May 21, 2003) - Starting May 21, New Hampshire Public Television's award-winning local productions and PBS programs will be available to DirecTV subscribers in the Boston area. Viewers in Strafford, Rockingham, Hillsborough, Cheshire, Merrimack and Belknap counties in New Hampshire; Windham County in Vermont; and Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, Worcester, Norfolk, Plymouth, Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties in Massachusetts can tune into Channel 11 and watch NHPTV. Plans for expanding satellite coverage throughout New Hampshire are underway.The current, three-time winner of the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters Station of the Year Award, NHPTV boasts a lineup of daily children's series, news and public affairs coverage, science and nature programs, and arts and performance specials.
