21st Season of NHPTV's Granite State Challenge Begins September 29th

(DURHAM, September 15, 2003) Thirty-two New Hampshire high school teams are ready to begin taking the Challenge when the 21st season of Granite State Challenge premieres Monday, September 29th at 7:30 p.m. on New Hampshire Public Television. Manchester Memorial High School will compete with Nashua High School in the opening round. Granite State Challenge airs Mondays at 7:30 p.m., and repeats Saturdays at 1 p.m.Granite State Challenge is a televised high school quiz competition which emphasizes quick recall of factual material in all major disciplines - math, science, social studies, language arts and fine arts - with a few questions about current events, entertainment, sports, and New Hampshire topics. Host Jim Jeannotte asks the Challenge questions to the teams; co-host Tim Estiloz interviews them prior to the game.
