NHPTV 44th Live Spring Auction Runs April 19-29

(Durham, April 11, 2017) The largest and longest running LIVE fundraising Auction in New England is back for its 44th year! The NEW HAMPSHIRE PUBLIC TELEVISION SPRING AUCTION runs LIVE from April 19-22 and April 26-29 on NHPTV PRIME and online at nhptv.org/auction. Online bidding remains lively every night, including the non-broadcast days (4/23- 4/25).

Each year the NHPTV SPRING AUCTION promotes thousands of small and large regional businesses, local artists, restaurants and more. The NHPTV SPRING AUCTION is a cornerstone to connecting with community supporters. Businesses around the region generously donate items and services, and favorite radio and TV personalities and community leaders serve as guest auctioneers. And the team of NHPTV SPRING AUCTION volunteers make it all happen! Online bidding at nhptv.org/auction is already underway on exciting and unique items, including:

  • Dinner at a Newburyport lighthouse - catered by Loretta Restaurant, a limousine ride around town and then staying  at the Compass Rose Inn.
  • A WINDOWS TO THE WILD experience with Willem Lange and crew
  • A  stunning amethyst and diamond ring donated by Summerwind Jewelers
  • One-of-a-kind hand-painted tables created just for the NHPTV SPRING AUCTION
  • Getaways galore! Stay at Woodwards Resort in Lincoln, the Snowflake Inn in Jackson or take a catamaran ride with author, KD Mason.
  • For the sports enthusiasts: an autographed baseball from the Red Sox's Jackie Bradley Jr. and tickets to all your favorite teams - the Fisher Cats, the Portland Sea Dogs, UNH Men's Hockey, UNH Women's Basketball and the Boston Red Sox.  
  • The NHPTV SPRING AUCTION has items for the home and garden, including gift certificates from Blue Seal Feed, Wentworth Greenhouse, Lake Street Garden center, furniture for the home, a shed from Reeds Ferry Sheds of New England and even a beautiful farmers kitchen sink from The Ultimate Bath Store.
  • The art lover can preview works by local artisans on the Virtual Gallery at nhptv.org/auction.  Bid online for jewelry, stoneware, framed paintings and photographs, and other handcrafted pieces.  These juried items and many more are offered during Gallery Night, Wednesday, April 26th.
