LITTLETON’S WLED SIGNAL OFF-AIR DURING ANTENNA MOVE

(DURHAM, July 20, 2016) —New Hampshire Public Television’s Littleton channel (WLED) is temporarily off the air while its antenna is moved to a new tower.

Viewers who watch NHPTV over-the-air are affected by this move, which could take up to five days to complete (weather permitting). NHPTV is transferring WLED’s broadcast antenna from its original 1968 tower to a new replacement tower at the same location.

The new tower will better support NHPTV’s ability to broadcast its signal in the Littleton area, as well as support future needs for public safety, cellular and advanced wireless systems. Once the antenna is installed on the new tower, viewers who watch New Hampshire Public Television via the Littleton antenna signal will again be able to receive its four channels (NHPTV PRIME, NHPTV EXPLORE, WORLD and CREATE). Viewers with concerns or questions should contact the station at (603) 868-1100 or email themailbox@nhptv.org.
