NHPTV to Air 10 UNH Hockey Games

(DURHAM, October 1, 2004) - When the University of New Hampshire men's ice hockey team takes to the ice against Ohio State at the Whittemore Center October 9 @ 5 p.m., New Hampshire Public Television will be there to provide live broadcast and online coverage of the game. NHPTV will broadcast nine other Wildcat home games during the 2004-2005 season. Games also will be archived at www.nhptv.org, for online viewing anytime. A recent USA Today/American Hockey Magazine preseason coaches poll ranked the UNH men's hockey team 10th. Last year, the Wildcats won 20 games for the eighth straight season and made another NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Dick Umile.
