42nd NHPTV AUCTION BEGINS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22nd @ 6 P.M.

–– Event Raises Funds to Support NHPTV’s Programs and Services ––

(DURHAM, April 16, 2015) – It’s time to get down to bidness on the largest and longest-running LIVE fundraising auction in New England! The 42nd New Hampshire Public Television Spring Auction runs from Friday, April 22 – 25 and April 29 – May 2 at 6 p.m. on NHPTV PRIME and online at nhptv.org/auction! Every year the NHPTV AUCTION promotes thousands of small and large regional businesses, local artists, restaurants, vacation spots, and recreational opportunities during this event that connects NHPTV with community supporters. Businesses around the region generously donate items and services, and favorite radio and TV personalities and community leaders serve as guest auctioneers. And, our volunteers make it all happen! Online bidding at nhptv.org/auction is already underway on exciting and unique items, including:
  • A 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid Sedan, which offers industry-leading hybrid technology and amazing fuel economy, donated by Your New England Toyota Dealer
  • A Windows to the Wild experience with Willem Lange and the crew!
  • Getaways galore! Go to the Omni Mount Washington Resort, Bar Harbor Inn, Attitash Grand Summit Hotel and more!
  • Items for sports enthusiasts, your home and gift ideas are featured during Auction theme nights. Bid on an autographed baseball from the Red Sox’s Pablo Sandoval and an autographed puck from Matt Bartkowski of the Bruins. Bid on a garden cart from Clark’s Grain Store, a table from Chilton’s Furniture, a fresh flowering plant from Pleasant View Gardens, and many beautiful handmade items!
  • Unique works of art:  Preview beautiful works by local artisans on the Virtual Gallery at www.nhptv.org/auction. Bid online for jewelry, stoneware, framed paintings and photographs, and other handcrafted pieces. These juried items and many more are offered during Gallery Night, Wednesday, April 29th.
