The BIA will recognize the important role and work of New Hampshire Public Television at its 101st Annual Dinner, Lifetime Achievement and New Hampshire Advantage Awards Celebration presented by Public Service of New Hampshire.CONCORD, N.H. – Oct. 8, 2014 – At its 101st Annual Dinner, Lifetime Achievement and New Hampshire Advantage Awards Celebration presented by Public Service of New Hampshire to be held Oct. 29 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel/Center of New Hampshire in Manchester, the Business and Industry Association will recognize and honor New Hampshire Public Television with the 2014 New Hampshire Advantage Award presented by Citizens Bank.Established in 2006, the New Hampshire Advantage Award honors businesses, organizations or projects that enhance New Hampshire’s special character and quality of life in meaningful ways.New Hampshire Public Television is the Granite State's statewide, independent, locally owned public television network. Its four distinct television channels (NHPTV PRIME, NHPTV EXPLORE, WORLD AND CREATE) engage minds, connect communities and celebrate New Hampshire with programs that entertain, educate and enrich.For 55 years, NHPTV has provided New Hampshire and Northern New England with award-winning PBS and local programs. Its television programs, along with education and community engagement services and online resources, serve the needs and interests of audiences of all ages, on all media platforms.
