Features Discussions with the NH Department of Education, NH After School Network, City Year, Timberland Regional High School Evening Division, No. Conway Eagle Academy and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Seacoast (DURHAM, September 18, 2013) — As part of the NHPTV EXPLORE channel’s national broadcast of AMERICAN GRADUATE DAY programming, New Hampshire Public Television is presenting conversations with six New Hampshire organizations that work to keep students in school and engaged in learning. The programming will air from noon – 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th on NHPTV EXPLORE. New Hampshire has one of the lowest high school dropout rates in the country. Educators, students and organization leaders talk with host Brittany Debelis about how their programs have made a difference in the lives of hundreds of young people and communities around the state. Featured on the program and talking about educational opportunities for students of all ages are representatives and participants from the NH Department of Education; Big Brothers Big Sisters; NH After School Network; City Year; Eagle Academy at North Conway; and Timberlane Regional High School's Evening Division Program. NHPTV EXPLORE is one of New Hampshire Public Television’s five broadcast channels.
