PASSPORT CRAFT BEER & FOOD PAIRING EVENT 9/15 IN PORTSMOUTH

(DURHAM, NH, June 25, 2012) – The best in craft beer and local culinary creations will be on tap September 15th at Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth. The 2012 PASSPORT Craft Beer & Food Pairing event, a benefit for New Hampshire Public Television and Strawbery Banke Museum, offers guests a savory tour of over 20 craft beers deliciously paired with appetizers from area restaurants and regional food purveyors. Guests will stroll the museum’s grounds, sampling and learning about leading craft beer styles and the cuisines they complement. Tickets are limited and this event sells out! Smuttynose Brewing’s director of brewing operations and master brewer David Yarrington and Chef Evan Hennessey of Flavor Concepts are guiding the pairings. The Jim Dozet Trio will perform throughout the evening. Stroll Strawbery Banke Museum’s grounds on the Piscataqua while enjoying a savory tour of craft beers from over 20 brewers, perfectly paired with appetizers prepared by local chefs. Learn about beer styles and the cuisines they complement. Guests receive a special PASSPORT glass. Vegetarian appetizers are available. Tickets for the Passport Main Event are $60, and its designated driver ticket is $25. Diplomat VIP Reception 4 – 7:30 PM. A PASSPORT Diplomat VIP ticket includes early admission to the Main Event and entry to the VIP tent where Diplomats can gather and sample exclusive beer and food pairings all evening. Guests receive a special PASSPORT glass. Tickets for the Passport Diplomat VIP are $85, and its designated driver ticket is $45.
