On “Living Well,” the fourth episode of New Hampshire Public Television’s CHANGING AGING IN THE GRANITE STATE series airing December 29th at 8 p.m., host Allison McNair look at how we can maintain our health and remain active as we age. McNair discusses the keys to staying healthy with Terry Johnson, director of HEAL (Healthy Eating and Active Living), which focuses on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, activity and the right attitude. Also, Dr. Dain LaRoche of the University of New Hampshire, an expert on the role of physical activity in the preservation of neuromuscular function in aging, discusses the importance of strength and mobility in preventing potentially disastrous falls.
