Nashua High School South Advances to Semi-finals of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, March 24, 2011) – The Nashua High School South team laid claim to one of the last spots in the semi-finals when they defeated Bedford High School 330 to 230 on last night's Granite State Challenge. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The prevailing Nashua South Purple Panthers included seniors Alden LeClair, Mitchell Gustin, Kinjal Shah, William Gosse, IV, and juniors Erin Barry and Alicia Javier. They were coached by Neil Claffey and Catherine E. Poulin. Their opponents, the Bedford Bulldogs, included seniors Camden Bisson and Jordan Dempsey, and juniors Milan Sandhu, Zach Collins, Liam Synan and Kegan Leberman. They were coached by Jon Cannon and Robert Zeller.Nashua High School South will face the winner of next week's match in the semi-finals on April 13th at 6 p.m.TUNE IN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30 @ 6 p.m. ST.
