Bow High School Advances to Quarterfinals of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, January 27, 2011) – Bow High School took the early lead on last night's round two Granite State Challenge match, and went on to defeat Farmington High School 330 to 210. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The prevailing Bow Falcons included seniors William Sheffer, Olivia Bergen, Stephanie Strong, Eric Chase, Rachel Gottlieb, and junior Aaron Forrest. They were coached by Michelle Miller. Their opponents, the Farmington Tigers, included seniors Samantha Stoakes and Rebecca Ireland, as well as juniors Katiemae White, Nick MacArthur, Matthew Hussey and Tyler Johnson. They were coached by Louise Leahy.Bow High School will face the winner of next week's match in the quarterfinals.
