Bishop Brady High School Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, January 6, 2011) – Round one of Granite State Challenge wrapped up last night with a big win for Bishop Brady High School, as they defeated Mascenic High School by a score of 410 to 105. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The winning Bishop Brady Giants included seniors Nick Amadeo, James Kiefner, Zach Higham, Connor Houghton, Tom Arena, and junior Anupa Murali. They were coached by Eric M. Dyment and Jim Miller. Their opponents, the Mascenic Vikings, included seniors Tim Allen, Xavier Guay, Stephanie Brundige, Robert Tatro, Josh McLeod, and junior Stephanie Worobey. They were coached by Karen McDonough and Deb Jerauld. There are four single-elimination rounds leading to the final contest in April.
