(DURHAM, December 30, 2010) – Keene High School secured a spot in the next round of Granite State Challenge with a victory over Merrimack High School, 280 to 140. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The prevailing Keene Blackbirds included senior John Szott, juniors Ashley Yarus and Shelby Redfield, and sophomores Leo Hastings, Miles Walter and Katie Marinoff. They were coached by Andrea Walker-Brown. Their opponents, the Merrimack Tomahawks, included seniors Patrick Greene and Anju Balaji, as well as sophomores Molly Jacobson, Roshni Narasimhan and Tyler Golemo. They were coached by Sue Ruggeri.
