Young Writers and Illustrators Contest Underway

(DURHAM, January 10, 2006) — Calling all young artists and writers in kindergarten through 5th grade! It’s time to start writing and illustrating your stories to enter into the Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest sponsored by New Hampshire Public Television. This is the twelfth year NHPTV is offering the contest, which encourages children's love for reading, writing, and drawing. Last year, more than 500 children submitted stories to NHPTV. Reading Rainbow airs on New Hampshire Public Television weekdays @ 2 p.m.
