Newmarket High School Advances to Round Two of Granite State Challenge

(DURHAM, November 4, 2010) – Newmarket High School stood up to the Granite State Challenge last night, defeating Stratford Public School by a score of 205 to 160. Catch Granite State Challenge Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and again Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on New Hampshire Public Television, and always online.The triumphant Newmarket Mules included seniors Jay Lancaster, Tyle Foster, and Nick Montegani, as well as juniors Trevor Kiefaber, Stephanie Brady and Henry Gilbert. They were coached by James G. Fabiano. Their opponents, the Stratford Lions, included senior Leif Becker, sophomore Richard Gokey, and freshmen Natalie Hakey, Clayton Theberge and Keith Brewer. They were coached by Marie P. Hughes.
