NHPTV Channel 50 Translator Power Increased; Improved Reception for Viewers in Hanover Area

(DURHAM – September 28, 2010) – New Hampshire Public Television recently increased power at its Channel 50 translator from 50 watts ERP to 228 watts ERP. Over-the-air viewers in this area who do not currently receive channel 50 should rescan their digital televisions and DTV converter boxes to see if the power increase improved their reception. NHPTV welcomes feedback regarding this change. Please let us know if you lost reception when we converted to digital and whether this increase allowed you to receive us again. Please submit comments to viewerservices@nhptv.org or call (603) 868-1100 (please leave a message with contact information if calling after business hours).
