A WRITER'S ROOTS: KURT VONNEGUT'S INDIANAPOLIS explores Vonnegut's relationship with his hometown, his children and family life, and the people and places that shaped him. Using archival photos, a 1991 interview with Vonnegut himself, along with interviews with his children, friends and Hoosier authors James Alexander Thom (Panther In The Sky), John Green (The Fault In Our Stars), and Dan Wakefield (Going All The Way), viewers discover how Indianapolis left its mark on one of the 20th century's most influential writers and his writing.
