Nandiniidae (African palm civet)

Nandiniidae
There is only one species in the family, the African palm civet. It is found in sub-Saharan Africa. The African palm civet is foun din forests. It is a small carnivore with long, ringed tail; short, rounded ears; and yellow eyes. They have a soft, wooly coat of mottled gray-brown fur. They spend most of their time in the trees and eat fruit, small mammals, birds, eggs, and insects.
