Rhinopomatidae - mouse-tailed bats

There are around three species in this family of small bats. They are found in arid regions of Africa and Asia. They have long, mouse-like tails; large ears, and small noseleaves. They eat insects and roost on vertical surfaces of rocks, buildings, or caves. Species include: the small mouse-tailed bat, the greater mouse-tailed bat, and the lesser mouse-tailed bat.
