Cheirogaleidae - dwarf lemurs, mouse lemurs

Western Fat-tailed Dwarf LemurThere are 29 species of very small lemurs in this family. They are all found in Madagascar. They have big eyes, very long tails, long rear legs, and soft gray or brown fur. They live in trees and are nocturnal. They are omnivores and eat fruit, insects, spiders, flowers, leaves, and small vertebrate animals. They live alone or in pairs.
