John visits the Ruby Mountains in Elko County. There he visits Lamoille Canyon with Joe from the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Then Joe takes John to fish at Angel Lake, a high altitude glacier lake. John returns to Lamoille Canyon and hikes the area. Here John meets up with a photographer and author whose focus is rural Nevada.
