Oyster River Bobcats Face Portsmouth Clippers

Granite State Challenge - Round One

(DURHAM, APRIL 29, 2021) – Tune in to NHPBS Saturday, May 1 at 6:00 pm as the Bobcats of Oyster River High take on the Clippers of Portsmouth High on Granite State Challenge.

Playing for the Oyster River Bobcats are Captain Silas Farwell, Christopher Hawley, Trevor Savage, and Aaron Eisenberg. The team is coached by John Monahan. Oyster River High, located in Durham, NH in Strafford County, enrolls around 765 students and serves the towns of Durham, Lee, and Madbury.

The Clippers of Portsmouth High are represented by Captain Francis Powell, Rio Marcus, Josie Sedam, Maddoc Johnson, and alternate Karina Havaleshko. The team is coached by Hannah Dul. Portsmouth High is located in Portsmouth, NH in Rockingham County. It serves the towns of Portsmouth, Rye, New Castle, Greenland, and Newington and has an enrollment of around 1,087 students.

The winner of the match will move on to the quarterfinals where they will face either Londonderry High or Pinkerton Academy High on 6/5 @ 6 pm on NHPBS.
